Interregnum

At the start of the APCM on April 26th 2011, John announced his intention to retire within the year. 
The PCC had, for some time, been working on this eventuality and the effect it will have on the Parish.  
During the meeting, the attached note from the PCC was read out.

Open parish meeting - May 10th, 2011

42 people attended the open meeting in the church chaired by Ian Nurdin. A breifing document had been circulated before the meeting and was used by John Harding to set the scene for the meeting. There was a break for refreshments to allow everybody to have discussions with other members of the meeting and formulate thoughts about possibly ways forward for our church and parish. Everybody then came back together and passed on their thoughts to the chair and these were recorded by Cameron Clark. All thoughts from this meeting will be taken to the full PCC meeting on May 17th and used to forumate a document we hope to pass to the Archdeacon in the here future.
