Re-dedication of our bellsOn Sunday, May 23rd 2010, the Archdeaon of Rochester lead a service of re-dedication for our bells. The service was attended by Alan Hughes, the owner of Whitechapel Bell Foundry where our bells had been refurbished and re-tuned, and a number of bell ringers from various Kent towers. During the service Alan handed over a new bell rope, which was blessed by the Archdeacon, to Gabrielle, our tower captain, to formal hand back our bells. Once this was done, our bells rang out for the first time in 5 months.
