This year's Christmas family service included a short Christmas drama about the Advent Wreath performed by members of Young Ash Church Alive (YACA).
Members came forward with a candle, explained what the candle means and then placed their candle in the specially designed wreath. After each candle was placed in the wreath, a short prayer was said by the YACA member.
Once the five candles had be placed in the wreath, the three youngest members of YACA invited all the children in the congregation to come and collect a candle and place it in front of the wreath.
Finally the two advent candles and all the smaller candles were lit and a final prayer said.
Well done YACA.
