Open2Question

Open2Question was started in 2006 following the confirmation of three adult members of the congregation. These adults realized that there was so much they didn't know about the Christian faith and they needed answers. Since the start, many questions have been asked and answers given. A single question normally stimulates a long discussion which goes off on many tangents. Some of the questions we have tackled include 'What happen to the Disciples after Christ ascended to the Father?', 'Why are there 4 weeks in Advent?', 'Why does God want us to love each other when it hurts so much when somebody dies?'. We've also had many discussions regarding the Trinity and looked in depth at the Creed. After more than three years, we are still asking questions.

If you would like to be part of this forum, either with questions to ask or simply to take part in the discussions, please contact Colin on 01474 879500 or Alison on 01474 874770. Don't worry if you think your question is too trivial, you'll find the group will be always be interested in the answer.

Open2Question meets every other Monday at 15 Spring Cross, starting about 8pm and finishing sometime between 9:30 and 10pm. There is always a member of the ministry team on hand to attempt to answer those tricky questions. There are no more meetings for 2009 due to Carol singing committments. Open2Question will restart on January 11th, 2010.
