Young Ash Church Alive (YACA)

Young Ash Church Alive (YACA) is something new and exciting for the young in faith of
Ash church.

YACA is a great mixture of games, arts, crafts, reading, songs, worship, refreshments and, most importantly, having fun! Although aimed at 5 to 18 year olds, it is open to anybody who would like to come along and join in. We will meet once a month, on the third Sunday, in Ash Village Hall between 10:15am and 11:50am.

Jan 17th, 2010.

The new term at YACA started looking at New things and making New things.
We started a very special project for the Church, which we will be continuing with throughout the next two months.
And we learnt about how Jesus' first miracle, turning water into new wine, was the start of a new life for him and a new life for us.

Feb 21st, 2010
We had a great time learning about Lent and how it is a journey for us. We talked about our own personal journeys through life, and how each one of us have a unique journey of our own, yet share some very similar paths.

Our next meeting is on Sunday 21stMarch, from 10:15am onwards at Ash Church Hall, and everyone is welcome to attend. We are also hoping to arrange a YACA outing for the May half term holidays. For more details please call Mark Nurdin on 01474 873414, Kiki O’Neill-Byrne on 01474 873230, or Jacquie Peal on 01474 872209.
