Young Ash Church Alive (YACA)

Young Ash Church Alive (YACA) is something exciting for the young in faith of
Ash church.

YACA is a great mixture of games, arts, crafts, reading, songs, worship, refreshments and, most importantly, having fun! Although aimed at 5 to 18 year olds, it is open to anybody who would like to come along and join in. We will meet once a month, on the third Sunday, in Ash Village Hall between 10:15am and 11:50am.

Young Ash Church Alive (YACA) met on the Sunday January 20th and this time we had great fun looking at what young Jesus did.

As Joseph was a carpenter and we thought that Jesus would probably helped him.
So we looked at some of the tools he might have used.

Jesus would have gone to the temple with his parents to read the Holy scriptures
but he wouldn't read these from books. He would have read from scrolls.
We decided to see if we could make our own scrolls, adding some colourful pictures.

YACA will be meeting again on Sunday 19th February

If you would like to join us, with children of any age (our youngest is not yet one!), please feel free just to turn up to one of our sessions, we’d love to meet you.
