Social Affairs Committee

We are a small group who meet occasionally to arrange social events for the congregation.  We try to hold an event every month with an annual ‘spectacular’.  We also organise and provide food for various events including the Pancake Party, Patronal Festival, Rectory Barbecue and Harvest Festival.  Our aim is to provide social occasions for members of the congregation and their friends to enjoy and to spread the word around the neighbourhood that we are a warm and friendly church always willing to welcome newcomers.  We also recommend worthy charitable causes to the PCC for the church to support each year and work towards raising money for these charities and for the church.  We are always looking for new ideas so if you have any just contact a member of the group which consists of Ann Aves, Pauline Bailey, Carole Jenkins, Jacky Richardson and Marion Simmons.
